Drew Blythe Barrymore (born February 22 1975) is an American actress. She has received numerous awards including a Screen Actors Guild Award Award as well as the Golden Globe. There have also been five Emmy Award nominations as well as the BAFTA nomination as well as five Emmy Award nominations. She is part of the Barrymore family and is the great-granddaughter John Barrymore. Barrymore became famous as a child actor with her role in E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial. The Extra-Terrestrial was the result of a highly publicized early childhood characterized by drug and alcohol abuse, she published an autobiography Little Girl Lost. In the 1990s she was a part of several films, such as PoisonIvy Boys on the Side and Mad Love. Barrymore was also a part of Adam Sandler in a few films, including The Wedding Singer and 50 First Dates. Barrymore gained fame as a child actress when she starred in E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial.
